Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Site Manager (FM Projects) to lead delivery across BAE Systems sites in Samlesbury and Warton. You will manage external contractors, enforce health and safety compliance, and support the embedded Mitie Project Management team to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

The role requires proven site management experience, SMSTS certification, and strong CDM knowledge.

Qualifications

SMSTS certification is essential.
Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and health and safety legislation.
Experience reviewing RAMS and overseeing contractor activities.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily activities of external contractors per project plans and site rules.
Review RAMS and manage Permit to Work processes for high-risk activities.
Prepare and implement Construction Phase Plans and CPPs on site.
Act as Authorised Person for Permit to Work systems and sign off permits.
Conduct site inspections and safety tours to maintain compliance.
Coordinate with Mitie PM team, contractors and stakeholders to deliver projects.
Maintain project documentation and track progress against plans.
Inspect works to ensure quality and customer expectations.
Support contractor performance management and address issues.
Contribute to on-time project delivery with minimal operational disruption.
