Job summary

Mears Group is a leading UK provider of housing and care services. We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead planned works from inception to completion across refurbishment programmes, ensuring safety, budget, and quality.

You will manage site teams, coordinate subcontractors, conduct inspections, and liaise with clients and residents to minimise disruption while delivering on programme and KPI targets. SMSTS and Asbestos Awareness are required, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planned maintenance, refurbishment, or investment works programmes.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations and CDM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage site teams, operatives and subcontractors to complete works safely, on programme and within budget.
• Carry out regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality and compliance.
• Liaise with clients, residents and consultants to provide updates and minimise disruption.
