Job summary

Kier Group in Exeter is seeking a Site Manager to lead the Construction team on local projects. You will manage resources, safety, and quality to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Working in a role that rewards clear communication, collaboration, and practical leadership, you will develop plans, monitor progress, and drive performance across both health and safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and SMSTS are required.
• Demonstrable experience in a site management role.
• Qualified and/or proven experience in leading operational projects.
• Professionally qualified or working towards membership of a Professional Body.
• Excellent communicator, highly organised, and focused on high levels of customer and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Implement health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and legal requirements.
• Lead, manage and motivate site staff to contribute to the organisation.
• Manage operational communications with customers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients through and beyond construction.
• Implement project plans and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
