Job summary

Davis Mills is seeking a Talented Site Manager for a large residential modular build in Southampton, overseeing communal areas and M&E installation. The role requires a strong leader who can deliver on time, to high quality, within budget, and ensure safety on site.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with clients and teams, with experience in modular construction or internal finishes, and the ability to maximise production through subcontractors and direct labour.

Talented Site Manager required

We are working alongside a successful building main contractor who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager with finishes experience. The Site Manager will be involved in a large residential modular building project in Southampton and will be responsible for all the communal areas, as well as overseeing the M&E installation.

They require a Site Manager who will be expected to work positively and collaboratively with all parties.

• To make Health, Safety and the Environment their first priority in all decisions and actions.
• The Site Manager will be expected to plan, manage and deliver all internal construction activities in an efficient and cost effective manner that causes least disruption.
• Demonstrate a positive 'can do' attitude at all times whilst understanding the impact of decisions on all aspects of the project / contract.
• To report openly and honestly at all times, acknowledging problems, analysing and providing seeking solutions.
• Be a positive team builder, care for their staff and actively engage in staff feedback and development.
• To take responsibility and ownership for the project.

Our client is looking for a Site Manager that can communicate well (good client skills), Experienced either with modular construction or have a background in internal finishes

• Able to maximise production through subcontractors and direct labour.
• The Site Manager will have a background and be extremely competent at bringing in a project to time, quality and budget.
