Job summary

CSC Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager for the final three months of a live residential refurbishment project in Luton. You will drive delivery, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on‑programme performance to handover with client satisfaction.

The role requires SMSTS and First Aid at Work, and owner‑level responsibility for site compliance, coordination with residents and consultants, and timely reporting on progress and risks.

Qualifications

• SMSTS accredited site manager qualification.
• First Aid at Work certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations through project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors to complete works safely, efficiently and on programme.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental compliance to high standards.
• Monitor workmanship and quality per specifications and client expectations.
• Liaise with residents, client, management and consultants to minimise disruption.
• Oversee site logistics, deliveries and access requirements.
• Carry out site inspections, quality checks and progress reporting.
• Resolve issues to maintain programme and budget.
• Oversee scaffold inspections, modifications and dismantling per regulations.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained including RAMS and handover records.
• Lead completion, commissioning and final handover of the project.

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the final three months of a high-quality external refurbishment project on a Live residential block in Luton. The successful candidate will take responsibility for driving the project through to successful completion, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, programme delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Project Scope

• Window replacement
• Roof upgrade works
• Scaffolding management, alterations and dismantling
• Completion of associated snagging and final handover activities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day site operations through to project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
