Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a high-performing school in Harrow, North-West London. The role leads premises and facilities, driving site standards, maintenance planning and compliance while supporting the leadership team. The position offers a permanent, full-time contract and a 37-hour week.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage contractors, coordinate maintenance schedules, and ensure health and safety compliance. DBS check required; start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Previous site or facilities management experience essential.
• Experience overseeing premises, coordinating maintenance and managing contractors or site staff.
• School experience would be valuable.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operation and security of the premises.
• Planning preventative maintenance and coordinating repairs.
• Overseeing contractors, service agreements and maintenance schedules.
• Supervising caretaking and cleaning staff and monitoring standards.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety, fire safety and statutory checks.
• Maintaining risk assessments, inspection records and site documentation.
• Supporting premises budgets, ordering supplies and obtaining quotations.
• Coordinating site preparations for events, lettings and school activities.
• Advising senior leaders on site improvements and maintenance priorities.
