Job summary

Adecco is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to support a primary school in Hindley Green. The role is temporary with immediate start, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with early morning and late afternoon split shifts.

You will be responsible for opening and securing premises, coordinating basic maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and supervising contractors. DBS preferred or willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Manager, Caretaker or Facilities Management experience.
• Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
• Enhanced DBS preferred (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school premises (key holding).
• Carrying out basic site maintenance and repairs.
• Ensuring site compliance and health & safety standards are maintained.
• Liaising with and overseeing contractors on site.
• Supporting with site security and day-to-day operational issues.
• Assisting with cleaning duties where required.

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 37 hours per week
Preferred split shift: 6:00am to 10:00am and 2:30pm to 6:00pm
Flexibility available for the right candidateHourly Rate: £15ph
