Job summary

Adecco are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to support a primary school in Hindley Green. This temporary role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a split shift from 6:00am–10:00am and 2:30pm–6:00pm. Hourly rate is £15.

You will open and secure the premises, carry out basic site maintenance, ensure health & safety standards, liaise with contractors, support security and day-to-day operations, and assist with cleaning where required. DBS preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Manager, Caretaker or Facilities Management experience.
• Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
• Enhanced DBS preferred (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Open and secure the school premises (key holding).
• Carry out basic site maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure site compliance and health & safety standards are maintained.
• Liaise with and oversee contractors on site.
• Support with site security and day-to-day operational issues.
• Assist with cleaning duties where required.
