A leading engineering services provider seeks a Site Manager / Electrical Installations Manager to oversee large-scale electrical installations for automotive production lines. Ideal candidates will have experience in Body in White environments and strong leadership skills. This role offers competitive salary, overtime, and opportunities for travel across Europe.
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Site Manager / Electrical Installations Manager to join a fast-growing engineering services provider delivering cutting-edge projects across the UK and Europe. This role is ideal for a well-rounded professional who has progressed from electrician to supervisor to site manager, particularly within Body in White (BIW) environments.
The successful candidate will lead the on-site delivery of large-scale electrical installations for high-profile automotive production lines, overseeing project progress, installation teams, health & safety, and daily site operations. This is a great chance to step into a senior site leadership role with ongoing development and European project exposure.
?? Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day site activities and coordinate site logistics
Lead and support the electrical installation team across multiple sites
Interpret and work with EPLAN electrical drawings
Liaise with design teams to ensure project alignment and issue resolution
Assign and monitor tasks for electricians, ensuring quality and safety
Conduct toolbox talks and manage site health & safety protocols
Track progress and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
Oversee material orders, site resources, and delivery schedules
? Ideal Candidate:
3+ years of experience managing electrical installations of robotic production lines (BIW essential)
Background in automotive manufacturing (e.g. JLR, BMW, other tier-one suppliers)
Strong working knowledge of EPLAN and electrical design schematics
Site leadership experience with a proven ability to deliver under pressure
SSSTS or equivalent H&S qualification preferred
Familiar with toolbox talks, RAMS, and daily task allocation
Comfortable working on multi-site projects – regular travel between Birmingham and Liverpool, with potential travel across Europe (accommodation provided)

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum (DOE)
Overtime paid after 40hours/week
