We are seeking a proactive and safety-consciousOFTO Operational Project Engineerto join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of contractual Operations & Maintenance (O&M) programs.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Leading by example & in conjunction with the Management Team & the RegionalHSE Team ensure a proactive safety culture & zero tolerance for accidents & self inflicted incidents at all levels of operation.
  • Execute & manage high voltage maintenance activities including inspections,protection testing, oil sampling, data collection, equipment repair/replacement as per OEM requirements.
  • Working with the project manager to coordinate activities to deliver the maintenanceprogram including ensuring that sufficient resource & appropriate tools/equipment are allocated for the work packages and RAMS are requested/created and reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Planning of work scopes by way of effective communication with EDS HV.
  • Management Marine Co-Ordinator and Vessel Operators.
  • Complete maintenance reports, update site asset management systems and liaisonwith Asset Management Team for upcoming and completed work.
  • Support the additional works process by logging known issues/defects with EDS
  • Asset Management team, liaising with the client on technical queries & deliveringwork packages ensuring that correct costs are captured for timely invoicing.
  • Coordination, Induction & Management of sub-contractors where these are requiredfor delivery of planned & reactive maintenance activities & additional service works.
  • First draft completion of Monthly and Annual Client Report for submission to ProjectManager.
  • Ensure good housekeeping of site to include updating of statutory requirements,RAMS, and all HSE related initiatives.
  • Outage requests to Transmission Network Operator in accordance with STCrequirements.
  • Provision of Standby cover to support the Company’s Fault & Emergency Services

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in developing and managing operational teams, ideally within transmission, construction, or O&M renewables environments.
  • Relevant experience in other complex and hazardous operational settings such as electricity generation plants, chemical facilities, or service in the Merchant or Royal Navy.
  • Strong Experience in windfarm design, Construction and O&M.
  • Extensive experience of High Voltage Systems.
  • A degree or HND qualified engineer in a suitable engineering discipline (preferablyin Electrical Engineering) and with, or working towards, professional accredited status.
  • Technical knowledge of Offshore Wind System lifecycle and various stages ofdesign, installation, monitoring and maintenance.
  • IT Literate.
  • This role requires a high degree of integrity and a flexible approach to achievingobjectives by influencing others.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Project Management, planning and design experience.
