Job summary

Vision Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Freelance Site Manager for a 12-week internal school refurbishment in Oxford, starting 19 October 2026. You will oversee internal trades, maintain HSE standards, and liaise with the school client to keep the programme on track.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid at Work, and a valid CSCS card. The project value is £250k and delivery must be on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check is mandatory due to the school environment.

Responsibilities

• Trade Management: Oversee and coordinate all internal sub-contractors and trades on-site.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the school management and project stakeholders.
• Health & Safety: Maintain strict H&S standards, conduct inductions, and manage RAMS.
• Project Delivery: Ensure the programme is met, tracking progress against the 12-week schedule.
