Job summary
Randstad CPE is recruiting a Site Manager to lead a major school refurbishment and extension project in Kent. You will take full operational ownership of the scheme, overseeing groundworks through to handover, ensuring quality, safety and programme deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have proven site management experience on education projects with Tier 1 contractors, SMSTS, CSCS Black/Gold and First Aid at Work, plus a strong focus on delivery and collaboration with the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Track record delivering school/educational projects on Tier 1/main contractor
- Broad technical capability across groundworks, structural packages and internal finishes
- Essential tickets: SMSTS, CSCS Black/Gold, First Aid at Work
Responsibilities
- Full Project Delivery: manage site operations from groundworks to high-spec finish and client sign-off
- Subcontractor & Supply Chain Leadership: drive performance and align trades with construction programme
- Health, Safety & Compliance: enforce Tier 1 safety standards on site and manage CDM in an educational setting
- Technical Management: review drawings, handle RFIs on-site and support QA with Project Manager
