Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction operations across Brighton and surrounding areas. You will manage on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, ensure health and safety compliance, and liaise with clients and design teams to drive timely, quality project delivery.

The role requires a proven track record in residential or commercial builds, strong leadership and communication skills, and relevant certifications (SMSTS/CSCS/First Aid preferred).

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Site Manager (ideally in residential or commercial construction).
• Strong understanding of H&S legislation and building regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisation skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Driving licence and ability to travel locally as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site activities and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Coordinate materials, labour, and project schedules.
• Lead site meetings and liaise with clients, architects, and project managers.
• Monitor progress, quality, and project costs.
