Job summary

Rogers McHugh is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a complex manufacturing facility project in Irlam, Manchester. The freelance/contract position covers multiple phases from enabling works through construction, with close coordination across client, contractors, engineers, and Principal Designers.

Ideal candidate has a strong background in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Construction, with live plant experience, machinery relocations, temporary works, and experience in live industrial

Qualifications

• SMSTS qualification required.
• CSCS card held.
• First Aid at Work trained.
• Experience as Temporary Works Coordinator / Supervisor.
• IPAF certification.
• PASMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site management and coordination of all subcontractors.
• Health, safety and environmental management on site.
• Permit-to-work and isolation procedure management.
• Programme management and progress reporting.
• Coordination of weekend shutdown activities.
• Liaison with client representatives, Principal Designers and project stakeholders.
• Quality assurance and project documentation.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to required quality standards.
