Job Opportunity: Site Manager (Civils)

Kenton Black is recruiting a Site Manager (Civils) on a permanent basis in the central belt of Scotland. The client is an established civil engineering contractor with deep roots across Scotland.

Role Overview: As a Site Manager, you will oversee daily operations on civil engineering projects. Projects will be assigned based on your home location and may include Edinburgh or Glasgow. The client has secured work until 2030, including building substructures, residential projects, bridge repairs, and road formations.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage up to 50 site workers
2. Host site inductions and toolbox talks
3. Contribute to progress meetings
4. Ensure site compliance with health & safety legislation
5. Meet programme deadlines

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience managing civils projects
• SMSTS, CSCS, 7 First Aid qualifications
• Positive employer references for all work history
