Site Manager (Civils) - Central Belt of Scotland

Kenton Black is recruiting a Site Manager (Civils) on a permanent basis in the central belt of Scotland. The client is an established civil engineering contractor with deep roots across Scotland.

In your new role as Site Manager, you will oversee the daily operations on civil engineering projects. Projects will be assigned based on your home location and may include sites in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The client currently has secured works until 2030, including building substructures, residential projects, bridge repairs, and road formations.

Your responsibilities will include managing up to 50 site workers, hosting site inductions and toolbox talks, contributing to progress meetings, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and meeting project deadlines.

Minimum requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience managing civils projects
• SMSTS certification
• CSCS card
• First Aid qualification (e.g., First Aid at Work)
• Positive employer references for all work history
