Job summary

Taylor Woodrow is seeking a Site Manager for a large embankment stabilisation project in Reading. You will manage the overall programme and delivery, with emphasis on safety and coordination within a live operating environment.

The role requires prior site management experience, ideally in civil engineering, infrastructure or rail, plus ability to manage subcontractors and ensure HSE compliance. Piling and drainage experience would be advantageous for this project.

Qualifications

• Site management experience in civil engineering, infrastructure or rail projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and health and safety on site.
• Piling and drainage experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage short and long-term programme planning.
• Oversee health & safety compliance and documentation.
• Support financial reporting and performance.
• Lead self-delivery of road construction package.
• Liaise with site engineers, QS team, and Contracts Manager.
