Job summary

Taylor Woodrow is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for an embankment stabilisation project in Reading. The role involves leading site operations, coordinating teams and resources, and ensuring delivery to schedule and within budget.

The successful candidate will have CSCS Gold Card, SSSTS/SMSTS, and COSS tickets, with proven supervisory experience in highways or civil works, and strong leadership and communication skills. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• CSCS Gold Card is mandatory.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification required.
• COSS (Controller of Site Safety) ticket needed.
• Proven experience supervising highways or civil engineering projects.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site operations to ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met.
• Coordinate and manage site teams, subcontractors and resources.
• Monitor progress against project plans and report on performance.
• Ensure works are delivered to specification, on time and within budget.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and promote safety culture.
