Job summary

Approach Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 5-month contract in Northampton. The candidate should have a background in groundworks, foundations and steel frame projects and will oversee day-to-day site operations across medium-large builds.

The role requires managing subcontractors, keeping works on programme, and maintaining high health and safety standards while coordinating with the commercial team to stay on budget.

Qualifications

• Valid SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid tickets.
• Desirable to have In-date DBS Certificate.
• Proven experience managing similar new build construction/groundworks projects.
• Strong health & safety and site procedure knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day site operations.
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme.
• Maintaining high standards of H&S compliance.
• Reporting into the senior operations team on project updates.
• Working closely with the commercial team to ensure the project is on budget.
• Coordinating works across site and conducting constant quality checks.

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a nationwide, construction main contractor, who are looking for an experienced Site manager with a background in groundworks, foundations and steel frame projects, across the next 5 months in Northampton.

The ideal candidate, will have experience working on medium-large construction projects with a strong understanding of groundworks, foundations and steel frame projects.
