Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a commercial new build near Towcester, Northamptonshire. The role is freelance/contract with immediate start in September 2026 on a steel frame and glazing development.

You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and liaise with project teams and suppliers to keep the project on programme and budget.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects.
• Experience working on steel frame buildings.
• Knowledge of glazing and envelope packages would be highly advantageous.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead site teams and maintain high standards throughout delivery.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading contractor on a steel frame and glazing development near Towcester, Northamptonshire.
This is a substantial commercial construction project featuring a multi-span steel frame structure and an extensive package of large-scale glazing, requiring a Site Manager with proven experience delivering similar projects from start through to completion.

• Day-to-day management of site operations
