Job summary

Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee civil engineering and water-related works through to March 2027. The role requires strong site leadership, safety discipline and coordination of subcontractors.

Applicants should have relevant civils/water project experience, SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and EUSR Water Hygiene. The position is on-site and long-term, with work extending through to March 2027.

Qualifications

• Site management experience in civils or water projects.
• Strong health and safety awareness and the ability to manage site teams effectively.
• RAMS compliance and project safety procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors and site teams.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor progress, resources, materials and site logistics.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, health and safety procedures and project specifications.
• Maintain site records, inspections and quality documentation.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers and client representatives.
• Identify and resolve site issues, escalating where necessary.

Essential Requirements
