Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Maltby Academy for an exceptional Site Manager to work with an experienced and highly motivated team of professionals.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and talented professional to work with the Trust Leader of Premises and Estates and the respective Principals. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting in the maintenance of Trust facilities, premises, and grounds to ensure the best environment at all times.
  2. Establishing and managing a proactive health and safety service and securing necessary risk assessments for all aspects of work.
  3. Line managing Academy caretaking personnel and designated staff.

  • Have good knowledge of skilled trades, high standards of work, and typical costs.
  • Have excellent knowledge of health and safety and compliance legislation in public buildings, as well as buildings and grounds maintenance procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable about health and safety relating to premises, plant, and equipment.
  • Be ICT literate, including spreadsheet skills.
  • Understand the context in which Maltby Academy operates.
