Job summary

ML Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Site Manager for a North West civil engineering portfolio including water/wastewater, infrastructure, roads and earthworks. The role covers regional delivery with emphasis on safety, quality and budget control.

You will lead on-site teams, drive programme adherence, manage plant and materials, and liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues quickly. A relevant HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent, plus proven on-site leadership, is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant site management experience on civil engineering projects.
• Experience in water/wastewater, infrastructure, roads & highways, earthworks.
• Proven leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate implementation of all works on site.
• Ensure work is executed in a safe manner.
• Manage site activities to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
• Liaise with site on daily basis issues related to programme, resources, production, productivity necessary to meet with programme requirements
• Lead all actions to solve technical difficulties, improve performance in terms of progress and quality

Our client, a regional civil engineering main contractor that has a mixture of works across the region including water/wastewater, infrastructure, roads & highways, earthworks, are currently looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to work throughout the North West region.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate implementation of all works on site
• Ensure work is executed in a safe manner
• Manage site activities to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
• Liaise with site on daily basis issues related to programme, resources, production, productivity necessary to meet with programme requirements
