Job summary

Vantage Consulting seeks a Site Manager to oversee wastewater and civil engineering projects across the North West. You’ll lead day-to-day site operations, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with RAMS and HSE standards on schedule and within quality expectations.

The role requires SMSTS (SSSTS minimum), strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with a focus on safety, environmental compliance, and project reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven Site Management experience within wastewater and civil engineering.
• Experience with confined spaces, detention tanks and shaft construction.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• SMSTS (SSSTS minimum).
• Confined Space, Street Works, First Aid and Water Hygiene training.
• Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator experience advantageous.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Site Manager - Wastewater / Capital Projects

Location: North West / Lancashire

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 DOE

Hours: 47.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

About the Role

An established engineering and infrastructure business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of wastewater and civil engineering projects.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
