Job summary

Delta Personnel Ltd is looking for an experienced Site Manager for an ongoing wastewater civils project in Redmarshall, near Stockton on Tees. You will lead site activities, manage subcontractors and ensure delivery to programme on behalf of the Principal Contractor.

The role covers civils packages for above-ground tanks, temporary works, and ensuring RAMS, permits and safety compliance. 10-hour days with overtime; start ASAP on a five-year AMP8 programme.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification or equivalent for site supervision.
• CSCS card holder is required.
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain via client facilitation.
• Knowledge of Temporary Works and related approvals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site and subcontractors on behalf of the Principal Contractor.
• Oversee civils packages for above-ground tank installation.
• Coordinate and supervise temporary works.
• Supervise excavations, concrete bases, plinths, drainage, ducting and pipework.
• Coordinate works around tank installation.
• Maintain site health and safety standards.
• Prepare RAMS, permits and ensure site documentation.
• Monitor programme progression and provide updates.
• Liaise with client, subcontractors and other site teams.

Job description

Delta Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager for an ongoing project at a wastewater treatment works in Redmarshall, Stockton on Tees.

The project involves the installation of new above ground tanks and associated civils works. You will be working on behalf of the Principal Contractor, managing subcontractors and overseeing the day to day delivery of the works.

Hours: 10 hours per day as standard, with additional hours and weekend work available and paid accordingly.

Start: ASAP

Duration: No end date. Part of the AMP8 upgrade works (5 year programme)

Payment: CIS

Duties will include:

• Managing the site and subcontractors on behalf of the Principal Contractor
