Job summary

Delta Personnel seeks an experienced Site Manager for an ongoing wastewater project at Tow Law, County Durham. You will manage the site on behalf of the Principal Contractor, coordinating subcontractors and delivering day-to-day civils works.

Hours are 10 per day with additional hours and weekends paid. Start ASAP for a major AMP8 upgrade programme (5 years). CIS payment applies. Relevant qualifications and water sector experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS are required.
• First Aid certification is preferred or arranged by client.
• Experience managing civils/wastewater projects is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Manage site and subcontractors on behalf of the Principal Contractor.
• Oversee civils packages for tank installations.
• Coordinate temporary works and site logistics.
• Ensure health and safety on site and maintain RAMS and permits.
• Liaise with client and other site teams to monitor progress.

Job description

Delta Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager for an ongoing project at a wastewater treatment works in Tow Law, County Durham.

The project involves the installation of new above ground tanks and associated civils works. You will be working on behalf of the Principal Contractor, managing subcontractors and overseeing the day to day delivery of the works.

Hours:10 hours per day as standard, with additional hours and weekend work available and paid accordingly.

Start: ASAP

Duration: No end date. Part of the AMP8 upgrade works (5 year programme)

Payment: CIS

Duties will include:

• Managing the site and subcontractors on behalf of the Principal Contractor
• Overseeing civils packages associated with the installation of above ground tanks
• Managing temporary works
• Overseeing excavations, concrete bases and plinths, drainage, ducting and associated pipework
• Coordinating works around the tank installation
• Managing site health and safety
• RAMS, permits and site documentation
• Monitoring programme and progress
• Liaising with the client, subcontractors and other site teams
