Job summary

Progressive Global Energy is seeking an experienced Project Site Manager to oversee installation and replacement of Air Handling Units on a major healthcare project in Reading. You will lead site operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage programmes, and ensure safety and quality in a live construction environment.

The ideal candidate has a hands-on mechanical construction background, strong leadership and communication skills, and proven AHU project delivery experience, including working in

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Site Manager to oversee the installation and replacement of Air Handling Units (AHUs) on a major healthcare project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on Site Manager with a strong mechanical construction background and proven experience delivering AHU packages. The role will involve managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project programmes, and ensuring all works are carried out safely and to the highest standards within a live construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and replacement of AHUs on site.
• Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.

• Strong mechanical construction background.
• Previous experience managing AHU installation or replacement projects.
• Proven Site Management experience within construction environments.
• Valid SMSTS certification.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, live operational environment.
• Experience delivering projects within hospital or healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with working in live facilities where minimal disruption is critical.
• Background in M&E or mechanical services projects.
