Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group in Oxford is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead refurbishment and construction projects. You will coordinate site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and operatives to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate site resources, materials, plant and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Develop and monitor programmes, budgets and targets with Project/Contracts Managers.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, CDM regulations and industry standards.
• Complete site inspections, start-up procedures and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Identify and report incidents, near misses and site issues to promote a safe working environment.

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in construction and refurbishment projects? We are working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join their team in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for the successful delivery of refurbishment and construction projects, helping to create high-quality spaces for people to live, work and visit. You will play a key role in coordinating site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and operatives, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate site resources, materials, plant and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.

About You

• A recognised construction‑related qualification, with SMSTS being essential.

• A good understanding of health & safety and CDM legislation.

Desirable

• Experience working on historic refurbishment projects.
• Experience working on buildings that are publicly or privately owned/accessed.
