Kier Group plc. is seeking a Site Manager to lead highways and civil engineering projects from our Brixworth base in Northamptonshire.
You will drive safe, high-quality delivery, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure programmes stay on track while coordinating with project managers and designers. The role requires NEC4 contract experience, a civil engineering qualification, and certifications such as SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor, and 12D M7 Traffic Management.
We're looking for a Site Manager to join our team based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of major highways and civil engineering projects across the East Midlands, helping to improve local communities through essential infrastructure, town centre regeneration, active travel, and highway improvement schemes. You'll play a key role in driving safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery while working alongside experienced industry professionals. Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire - onsite 5 days per week Hours: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 per year + £5,900 annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Site Manager, you'll be working on a varied portfolio of highways infrastructure and civil engineering projects, including junction and interchange improvements, town centre regeneration schemes, active travel projects, carriageway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage upgrades, and structures maintenance. Working on live highway environments, you'll champion a people-first approach to safety while leading site teams and subcontractors to deliver successful outcomes for our clients and communities.
