Role Overview

The role involves managing the construction site according to company guidelines and goals, ensuring all aspects of the project adhere to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Manage the construction site to ensure timely completion, specification compliance, and adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
2. Ensure all quality and safety inspections meet control standards and are conducted according to group guidelines.
3. Coordinate with external parties such as warranty providers, local authorities, and utility companies to achieve the build programme.
4. Maintain accurate records including staff inductions, health, safety, and environmental reports, timesheets, incident reports, and quality checklists.
5. Call off and store materials in accordance with group guidelines.
6. Supervise workforce activities, including subcontractors, to ensure timely, quality, and budget-compliant work.
7. Collaborate with other departments like Sales and Customer Care to meet targets and resolve issues promptly.
8. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies to minimize incidents.
9. Travel across various sites in the region and occasionally to other group offices.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in the house building industry is essential.
• Knowledge of NHBC, LABC, or Premier standards.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Current CSCS Card.
• SMSTS certification is preferred.
• Full UK driving license required.
• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management is preferred.
