Wates Group is seeking Site Managers to join our Residential London region, building new homes and creating lasting legacies for communities.

Wates Residential is a developer contractor; we invest, develop, build, and sell quality affordable housing, often in partnership with Local Authorities, Registered Providers, and public bodies such as Homes England.

About the Role

Our Site Managers are vital to our business, ensuring quality outcomes and maintaining the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental controls. They work collaboratively with Project Managers to ensure project completion to high standards.

As our Site Manager, you will:

  1. Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries, and weekly progress reports.
  2. Review design drawings for build-ability and coordination.
  3. Manage the flow of subcontractors' design information as delegated by the Project Manager, aligning with the project schedule. Assist in producing and monitoring the MIRS. Coordinate subcontractor schedules and performance.
  4. Monitor project progress against the contract programme, discussing and agreeing on recovery plans with the Project Manager.
