A leading company in the construction sector is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a residential project in South West London. The role involves overseeing construction processes, managing site labour, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have a background in engineering or construction management, along with relevant certifications. This position offers the opportunity for a freelance role or a temporary-to-permanent position.
An Assistant Site Manager is required to oversee the construction of a residential building in South West London. The scheme has been on site for approximately 9 months and involves a new RC frame building valued at circa GBP 8 million.
Candidates should ideally come from an engineering, construction management, or trades background and have managed projects of similar scale. The project is currently at the 1st fix internals stage, so experience with residential fit-out and finishing packages would be preferred.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, able to work in a busy construction environment, and have proven experience working to tight deadlines. This is a freelance role for 6 months or a temporary-to-permanent position.
Relevant qualifications and tickets include CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid.
