Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a contract Site Manager in the Stroud area to lead passive fire door projects, overseeing them from start to finish while keeping work on programme and to specification. You will supervise installers and maintain site discipline, with strong emphasis on safety and client liaison.

The role requires knowledge of BM TRADA standards, a valid SMSTS certificate, and a DBS check (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of BM TRADA fire door standards and certification.
• Current SMSTS certificate.
• DBS check current or willing to obtain one.
• Experience as Site Manager or Contracts Supervisor in passive fire protection.
• Strong organisation and clear communication.
• Willing to work on Bath area sites.

Responsibilities

The role

• Oversee passive fire projects from start to finish, keeping work on programme and to specification

What you'll bring

• Working knowledge of BM TRADA fire door standards and certification
• A valid SMSTS certificate
• A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one promptly)
• Previous fire door experience, ideally as a Site Manager, Contracts Supervisor or similar role in passive fire protection
• Strong organisation, clear communication and a practical, hands‑on approach
• Reliable and able to work on sites in the Bath area
