Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a contract Site Manager in the Stroud area to lead passive fire door projects, overseeing them from start to finish while keeping work on programme and to specification. You will supervise installers and maintain site discipline, with strong emphasis on safety and client liaison.

The role requires knowledge of BM TRADA standards, a valid SMSTS certificate, and a DBS check (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of BM TRADA fire door standards and certification.
• Current SMSTS certificate.
• DBS check current or willing to obtain one.
• Experience as Site Manager or Contracts Supervisor in passive fire protection.
• Strong organisation and clear communication.
• Willing to work on Bath area sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee passive fire projects from start to finish, ensuring on programme and to specification.
• Supervise installers and operatives maintaining high workmanship and site discipline.
• Manage health and safety on site including briefings and records.
• Verify fire door installations meet standards and are documented.
• Act as main on-site contact for clients, contractors and inspectors.
• Report progress, resolve issues quickly and keep projects moving.
