Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee planned maintenance works in Lichfield for social housing projects. You will manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate delivery to ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard.

The role involves supervising subcontractors, planning refurbishments (kitchens, bathrooms, windows/doors) and ensuring compliance with health and safety and programme requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Black CSCS Manager Card required.
• SMSTS certification required.
• Proven experience with planned works in social housing or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and planned maintenance works.
• Manage subcontractors and trades, ensuring works are delivered efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate planned works including kitchens and bathrooms, window and door replacements, and refurbishment tasks.
• Ensure all health and safety requirements and site procedures are followed.
• Monitor programme progress, quality of work and site performance.
• Liaise with residents, clients and stakeholders as needed.

Site Manager – Planned Works (Social Housing)

Location: Lichfield
Rate: £230–£250 per day CIS
Contract: Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee planned maintenance works in Lichfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in social housing planned works, who can confidently manage site operations, subcontractors and delivery to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and planned maintenance works.

• Manage subcontractors and trades, ensuring works are delivered efficiently and safely.

• Coordinate planned works including kitchens and bathrooms, window and door replacements, and associated refurbishment works.

• Ensure all health and safety requirements and site procedures are adhered to.

• Monitor programme progress, quality of work and overall site performance.

• Liaise with residents, clients and stakeholders where required.

• Maintain accurate site records and ensure works meet the required standards.

Essential Requirements:

• Valid Black CSCS Manager Card – essential

• SMSTS

• Proven experience managing planned works within social housing or maintenance.

• Experience delivering kitchens and bathrooms, window and door replacements, or similar refurbishment programmes.

• Strong knowledge of site health and safety, quality control and programme management.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive works through to completion.
