Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to provide short-term holiday cover for a well-established client in Haverfordwest.

This role is ideal for an experienced Site Manager or Site Supervisor who can take ownership of day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades and site teams and ensuring health and safety standards are met throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager or Site Supervisor on construction sites.
• CSCS card and SMSTS certification required.
• First Aid qualification preferred.
• Strong health and safety understanding on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and labour.
• Liaise with trades, subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinate materials and deliveries.
• Ensure works meet programme and quality standards.
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Monitor and enforce site health and safety procedures.
• Maintain communication across the site team.
• Open and close the site each day.
• Take ownership and ensure smooth project delivery.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to provide short-term holiday cover for a well-established client in Haverfordwest.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager or Site Supervisor who is available for a short-term assignment and can take ownership of day-to-day site operations.

You'll be responsible for coordinating trades and subcontractors, overseeing site activity and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• SMSTS Certification.
• First Aid Qualification.
• Strong understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Confident managing trades, subcontractors and site teams.
• Proactive and organised approach.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently.
