Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a freelance Site Manager for a short-term assignment in Guildford, Surrey. The role runs for 1 week beginning Friday 21st August, overseeing a scattered kitchen and bathroom refurbishment across occupied properties.

You will lead the site team, manage project progression, ensure health and safety compliance, and maintain high levels of customer care on site.

Qualifications

• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work qualifications.
• Experience supervising on-site staff and subcontractors.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and practices.
• Excellent communication, both written and spoken.
• Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site teams and subcontractors across multiple properties.
• Monitor progress and ensure quality of workmanship.
• Maintain strict health and safety procedures at all times.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and plant as required.
• Liaise with property occupiers and stakeholders to minimise disruption.

Job description

This job for a freelance Site Manager joins an established project team on a scheme in Guildford, Surrey to start Friday 21st August for a project duration of 1 week holiday cover. The key responsibility in this role of the Site Manager will be to oversee a scattered kitchen and bathroom refurbishement framework on various occupied properties locally. You will be overseeing the site team, progression of project, health and safety and customer care.

Key skills and experience required:

• Maintaining high levels of health, safety and environmental standards
• Strong communication and liaison skills
• CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid at Work.
• Day to day supervision and co-ordination of on-site staff, subcontractors, plant and materials
• Building and maintaining good relationships across all subcontractors and direct employees
• Maintain strict quality control procedures and conduct regular site safety checks
• Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
