Velocity Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a flagship roofing programme in East London for L&Q Grand Union. You will oversee the roof replacements, balconies and green roofs across occupied residential properties, managing subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure a safe, on-time delivery.

The role requires proven site management experience on planned maintenance or refurbishment with a strong roofing background, excellent leadership, and the ability to travel

Site Manager – Planned Maintenance (Roofing)

Location:East London
Salary:Up to£65,000+ Excellent Package
Project:L&Q – Grand Union Roofs & Balconies / Green Roofs
Contract Value:£6m over 18 months

We are working with awell-respected, established planned maintenance contractorwith an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality refurbishment projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experiencedSite Managerto lead a flagship roofing project in East London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business known for its strong client relationships, excellent staff retention, and consistent pipeline of work.

The Project

You’ll be responsible for managing a£6m, 18-month roofing programmeforL&Q, delivering roof replacements, balconies, and green roof installations across occupied residential properties within theGrand Uniondevelopment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
• Manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Liaise with the client, residents, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor programme progress, quality, and productivity.
• Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
• Maintain accurate site records and reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience as aSite Managerwithin planned maintenance or refurbishment.
• Strong background deliveringroofing projectsis essential.
• Experience working on occupied residential schemes.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications.
• Must have your own carand be able to travel across East London sites.
