Job summary

Caval Limited is seeking an experienced Working Foreman to oversee snagging and repair works at Boots pharmacy stores around London. You will be on-site, ready to perform hands-on tasks if required, and manage site safety and progress.

The role requires a CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid, with prior experience as a Joiner on construction projects. A valid vehicle is essential due to travel between sites in London.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• SMSTS certification preferred.
• First Aid qualification preferred.
• Previous background as a Joiner on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist on the tools when required to support site activities.
• Issue RAMS, toolbox talks and inductions.
• Liaise with internal sub-contractors and manage on-site coordination.
• Prepare reports for management on project status and performance.
• Direct and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites following plans and safety rules.
• Enforce site safety, conduct regular safety inspections.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards to ensure work meets company specs.
• Maintain accurate records of work, materials and changes to the project plan.
• Interact with clients as needed to address questions and ensure satisfaction.
• Allocate resources including site teams and materials.
• Complete and record all site and project documentation.

Job Title: Working Foreman (Need Own Van / Large Car)

Location: London

Rate: 280.00 to 300.00 + Mileage per day (Parking is Covered)

Start Date: 28/09/26 for 2 weeks (potentially longer for the right candidate)

Role Overview:
Working Foreman completing snagging and repair works on Boots pharmacy stores around London.

Responsibilities:

• Prepared to help out on the tools as and when required
• Issue RAMS, toolbox talks and inductions
• Liaising with internal sub-contractors
• Prepare reports for management regarding project status and performance.
• Direct and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, following project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
• Implement and enforce all aspects of site safety & conduct regular safety inspections
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds company standards
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any changes to the original project plan.
• Interact with clients as needed, addressing questions, concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
