Job summary

JAM is seeking a Site Supervisor for our Exeter-based ground mount solar farm projects. You will oversee site activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure HSQE/CDM compliance while reading technical drawings and specifications.

You will lead toolbox talks and provide daily/weekly progress reports to Project Managers. The role requires 3-5+ years in site supervision or site management, with proven ability to manage risk, delays, and site issues on solar farm projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' experience in site supervision or site management.
• Ground Mount Solar Farm experience essential.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site activities.
• Strong understanding of HSQE and CDM requirements.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience carrying out site inspections, quality checks and snagging.
• Confident delivering toolbox talks and site briefings.
• Able to produce daily and weekly progress reports.
• Strong communication skills with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and Project Managers.
• Ability to identify and manage site risks, delays and issues.
