Job summary

JAM seeks an experienced Site Supervisor to support a large-scale ground-mounted Solar PV project in Milton Keynes. You will supervise subcontractors, oversee installation works and ensure HSQE compliance while maintaining project progress on site.

The role requires 3–5 years of site supervision experience, ground-mounted Solar PV expertise, and the ability to read technical drawings. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential; IOSH/NEBOSH certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ site supervision experience.
• Ground-mounted Solar PV experience – essential.
• Experience on large-scale solar or renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of HSQE and UK construction regulations.
• IOSH/NEBOSH certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and daily site activities.
• Oversee ground-mounted Solar PV installation works.
• Ensure HSQE compliance and CDM requirements are met.
• Deliver toolbox talks and monitor site safety.
• Monitor workmanship and installation quality.
• Report progress, risks, delays and issues to the Project Manager.
• Support snagging, quality checks and project completion.
• Act as the main on-site contact for subcontractors and suppliers.
