Temporary Site Manager - School Premises

Location: Birmingham

Contract Type: Temporary (30th June - Early September, including handover)

Working Hours: Split shift during term time; summer holiday hours to be confirmed

Morning: 7:00am - 9:30am & Afternoon: 3:00pm - 6:00pm

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable *Temporary Site Manager* to support the day-to-day running of our school premises over the summer period. This role is essential to maintaining the security, safety, and smooth operation of the school while we recruit for a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school site each day
• Conducting regular site checks to ensure health and safety standards are met
• Performing minor maintenance and repair tasks
• Ensuring the site remains clean, safe, and operational
• Coordinating with contractors and external service providers as required
• Responding to urgent site issues and supporting school staff as necessary
  
  

Person Specification

• Significant experience working in a school environment is essential
• Sound knowledge of building/site security, health and safety procedures, and general maintenance
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• An enhanced DBS check is required (or willingness to obtain one)
