Temporary Site Manager - School Premises
Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Temporary (30th June - Early September, including handover)
Working Hours: Split shift during term time; summer holiday hours to be confirmed
Morning: 7:00am - 9:30am & Afternoon: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable *Temporary Site Manager* to support the day-to-day running of our school premises over the summer period. This role is essential to maintaining the security, safety, and smooth operation of the school while we recruit for a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Opening and securing the school site each day
- Conducting regular site checks to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Performing minor maintenance and repair tasks
- Ensuring the site remains clean, safe, and operational
- Coordinating with contractors and external service providers as required
- Responding to urgent site issues and supporting school staff as necessary
Person Specification
- Significant experience working in a school environment is essential
- Sound knowledge of building/site security, health and safety procedures, and general maintenance
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- An enhanced DBS check is required (or willingness to obtain one)
