Site Manager Required - Industrial Roofing Project

Location: Halesowen

Duration: 5 Months

Start Date: Monday 24th August

Rate: £230 per day

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee a major industrial roofing project in Halesowen

This is a £900K project involving the installation of a new roof over existing industrial units across three warehouse blocks. The successful candidate will work closely with the roofing contractor and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all site activities and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate and manage a workforce of approximately 4-10 operatives.
• Liaise closely with roofing contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor site safety, productivity, and quality standards.
• Move and coordinate plant and machinery as required.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved in line with programme requirements.
• Maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders on site.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Manager on construction projects.
• SMSTS qualification.
• First Aid at Work certification.
• Asbestos Awareness certification, particularly relating to roofing works.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay "on the ball" in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, switched-on approach with excellent attention to detail.

• 7:30am - 4:00pm
