Job summary

A 3-month contract Assistant Site Manager role is available with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Birmingham. The position requires coordinating roofing works across social housing sites, moving between locations and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Working hours are 08:00 to 17:00, with a requirement to travel between sites across the area. Applicants should hold a Full UK Driving Licence, DBS, CSCS, First Aid, and Fire Marshal certificates.

08:00 AM to 05:00 PM

ROLE:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Assistant Site Manager to support a roofing project across social housing sites in Birmingham. The successful candidate will move between different sites across the area, assisting with the effective coordination and management of site activities. Previous social housing experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the day-to-day management and coordination of roofing works across multiple social housing sites.
• Move between different project locations across Birmingham as required.
• Support site teams and contractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
• Monitor site activities and help ensure project schedules and requirements are met.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety across all sites.
• Assist with coordinating operatives, materials, and site activities.
• Identify and report site issues, defects, and health and safety concerns to site management.
• Ensure company policies, client requirements, and site procedures are followed at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Full UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle
• Valid DBS
• Valid CSCS Card
• First Aid Certificate
• Fire Marshal Certificate

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Previous experience working on social housing projects.
• Experience within roofing or roofing refurbishment projects.
• Previous experience working across multiple sites.
