Job summary

Equans in Birmingham seeks an Assistant Site Manager to support a roofing project across social housing sites in Birmingham. The role requires moving between sites, coordinating site activities and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid DBS, CSCS, First Aid, SMSTS/SMSTC, Fire Marshal and Asbestos Awareness certificates, and possess a Full UK driving licence with own vehicle. Social housing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day management and coordination of roofing works across multiple social housing sites.
• Move between different project locations across Birmingham as required.
• Support site teams and contractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
• Monitor site activities and help ensure project schedules and requirements are met.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety across all sites.
• Assist with coordinating operatives, materials, and site activities.
• Identify and report site issues, defects, and health and safety concerns to site management.
• Ensure company policies, client requirements, and site procedures are followed at all times.

PAY RATE: £220.00 CIS

CONTRACT: Contract - 3 Months

HOURS: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Assistant Site Manager to support a roofing project across social housing sites in Birmingham. The successful candidate will move between different sites across the area, assisting with the effective coordination and management of site activities. Previous social housing experience is preferred.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:
