Job summary

JT Search is assisting a leading Tier 1 contractor in Dover to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a major civils project. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and drive safety and programme delivery on a high-profile civil package.

Essential experience includes CSCS, SMSTS, Crane Appointed Person, and HSG47/Underground Services familiarity. Competitive salary and bonus available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing civil engineering projects on site.
• Strong track record leading civil site teams to deliver programmes.
• Valid CSCS card, SMSTS and Crane Appointed Person where applicable.
• Experience with HSG47 / Underground Services procedures.
• Demonstrated planning, programming and resource management skills.
• First Aid certification or equivalent on-site readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage site teams and the successful delivery of civil engineering works.
• Oversee concrete and demolition packages.
• Plan, programme and resource works effectively.
• Drive a strong Health & Safety culture across the area.
• Coordinate subcontractors and direct delivery teams on site.

I'm working with a leading Tier 1 contractor on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a major civils project in Dover.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work for a well-established contractor with a strong project pipeline, excellent standards and genuine opportunities to progress.

You'll take ownership of a package of works on site, leading teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

The role

• Manage site teams and the successful delivery of civil engineering works
