Job summary

Joshua Robert Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a short-term holiday cover on a commercial office fit-out in Coventry. The assignment runs from Thursday 20th August to Tuesday 1st September inclusive, with a daily rate of £250–£275 depending on experience.

CIS payments are available for this freelance/contract role. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors, ensure safety and RAMS compliance, conduct inductions and toolbox talks, and report progress

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit out projects.
• Valid SMSTS certificate.
• Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
• Valid CSCS card (Black/Gold Manager preferred).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to hit the ground running with minimal handover.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to provide holiday cover on a commercial office fit out project in Coventry. This is a short-term freelance/contract position running from Thursday 20th August through to Tuesday 1st September inclusive, covering the permanent site manager while they are on leave.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring the fit out programme continues to progress safely, on time, and to the required quality standard during the cover period.
