Job summary

Strong Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a Site Manager for a fast-moving M&E project in Cambridge. The role requires hands-on leadership of the M&E trades on site and ensuring compliance with safety and project programmes.

Candidate must have an M&E background with strong site management experience on commercial projects, and hold valid SMSTS and asbestos awareness certifications. Immediate start for 4–12 weeks of work on site.

Site Manager – M&E Project – Cambridge

Location: Cambridge

Duration: 4 – 12 weeks
Rate: £270 per day
Hours: 8 hours per day

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a commercial M&E project in Cambridge

The successful candidate must have a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background and previous experience managing commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the site and M&E works

• Coordinating mechanical and electrical trades and subcontractors

• Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard

• Monitoring progress and reporting on site activities

• Managing health & safety and ensuring site procedures are followed

• Liaising with contractors, project management and other site personnel

• Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and general site management duties
