Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is helping a Birmingham academy recruit a Site Manager to lead day-to-day site operations, security, safety compliance and maintenance. The role is full-time and long-term, with potential for a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will oversee budgets, coordinate contractors and ensure a safe, compliant, well-maintained environment for students and staff. Salary ranges from £35,570 to £41,177 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum Level 3 qualification, with facilities management and/or management qualifications desirable.
• Experience managing a facilities service, with experience in an education setting desirable.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, security management and Health & Safety requirements.
• Experience managing contractors, budgets and planned and reactive maintenance.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, reliable and flexible approach, with the ability to work additional or unsociable hours when required.

The academy promotes a collaborative culture and is looking for a skilled Site Manager who can take ownership of the day-to-day management and continued development of the school site.

The academy is looking to appoint a Site Manager on a full-time, long-term basis, leading to a permanent position for the right Site Manager. The successful Site Manager will oversee security, Health & Safety compliance, building and grounds maintenance, external contractors and planned and reactive works, ensuring the academy remains safe, compliant and operational at all times.

The successful Site Manager will have:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification, with facilities management and/or management qualifications desirable
• Experience managing a facilities service, with experience in an education setting desirable
