Job summary
Wates is seeking a Site Management (Production) Trainee to contribute to the safe, on-time, on-budget delivery of projects. You will work on-site with experienced managers, gaining practical knowledge in planning, coordination and quality control while pursuing an apprenticeship aligned with the programme.

Qualifications
- Must have GCSE Maths and English grade 4/C or better by Sept 2027.
- Must have two A-Levels at grade D or above by Sept 2027.
- Full UK driving licence required for Bedford roles.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities on site.
- Promote Wates' commitment to health, safety, wellbeing and environmental sustainability.
- Work with subcontractors and supply chain partners to complete works safely and efficiently.
- Develop relationships with clients, designers and project teams.
- Assist with planning and monitoring project programmes to keep on schedule and budget.
- Support quality inspections and site checks to meet specifications.
